Heavy Metal ruined me!!
I don't know about an 8, I would have come in closer to a 6. I think it sounds pretty much like an STP album, but not as good. I expected more from these guys. When you have 4 metal guys and one grunge dude, I would have expected the sound to be more along the lines of metal, but this sounds like an alternative album. Who wrote most of the tunes? Slash? If so he is a closet grunge freak.
