What would Nathan do?
It's awesome. It is a great "Loud" rock amp. Should work great for metal as well. Using an amp like a VHT Pitbull will help you escape from the tired world of Marshall's, Mesa's, etc. Try to test it in an environment where you can crank it. Let the tubes get really warm. You'll love the feel and the tone it creates.
Maybe somebody knows a band that uses these amps. I can't think of one right now.

Thanks, I remember hearing great things about it a while ago, just wanted to reconfirm it. Now just try to get my hands on one....
cradle of filth uses the vht pitbull, soldanos and some other amps. their tone is really good. warm and thick, not your regular chugga chugga die die sound.
