The kick doesn't sound that bad it's just very low. I'd add some 4.5k, cut between 130hz & 700hz (maybe even as far as 2k) and boost around 80hz. It sounds it the 60hz range which is cool but you may need to add another kick sample track with a more direct sound. This one is very thuddy. Get a really triggered kick and layer it on top and it'll be good.

Just drop this one down behind it, or lower the 60hz a bit. It sounds very "paddy" if that makes sense (I love audio words)
