Video footage of ALICE COOPER drummer Glen Sobel's October 24 performance at the 2015 Cascio Interstate Music's 15th annual DrummerFest in New Berlin, Wisconsin can be seen below. Sobel was on a short break from his current tour with Alice as special guest on MÖTLEY CRÜE's "The Final Tour". Also performing that day were Peter Erskine (WEATHER REPORT, STEELY DAN), Sean Fuller (FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE), Raymond Massey (THE WOOTEN BROTHERS) and percussionist Glen Caruba (Jimmy Buffet).One of the largest drum events in the U.S., Cascio Interstate Music's DrummerFest has hosted many of the industry's top drummers and percussionists. Previous years have seen performances by such heavyweights as Gene Hoglan (DEATH, TESTAMENT, DETHKLOK, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD), Gavin Harrison (PORCUPINE TREE), Thomas Lang (STORK, PAUL GILBERT), Hannah Ford (PRINCE), Todd Sucherman (STYX) and many more.Sobel recently filled in for Tommy Lee in MÖTLEY CRÜE for five shows due to a case of inflamed tendinitis in Lee's wrist. Sobel performed double duty, playing first with Alice Cooper and then immediately after with CRÜE. Lee returned to the kit last night (Tuesday, November 3) in Manchester, England, the first show of the European leg of the MÖTLEY CRÜE / ALICE COOPER tour.
