Czech Republic-based classical symphonic metal band SYMPHONITY (formerly NEMESIS) has once again tapped CRADLE OF FILTH/MASTERPLAN drummer Martin "Marthus" Skaroupka to lay down the drum tracks on its upcoming album. The drums were recorded last month at the Gate studio in Wolfsburg, Germany with producer Sascha Paeth (KAMELOT, RHAPSODY OF FIRE, EPICA). Video footage from the recording sessions can be seen below.Martin previously recorded drums for SYMPHONITY's debut album in 2006 with producer Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC, PLACE VENDOME) at the House Of Audio studio in Germany.SYMPHONITY bassist Tomas Celechovsky lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in June 2012. Celechovsky joined SYMPHONITY in 2004, one year after the release of the band's debut album, "Goddess Of Revenge", which was made available under the band name NEMESIS via Underground Symphony Records. SYMPHONITY's second album, "Voice From The Silence", was released in 2008 through Limb Music Products. The band's current lineup includes German vocalist Olaf Hayer, who previously sang on albums from Luca Turilli (RHAPSODY) and DIONYSUS.
