BODY COUNT, the metal band fronted by hip-hop legend, actor and director Ice-T, has released the official music video for the song "All Love Is Lost". The track, which features a guest appearance by Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, SEPULTURA), is taken from BODY COUNT's latest album, "Bloodlust", which was released in March 2017 via Century Media Records. Co-written by Cavalera, "All Love Is Lost" delves into the intense feelings one has after a betrayal of trust by a loved one. Commingling his acting and music career, Ice-T enlisted his "Law And Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC) co-star Kelly Giddish to play the vindictive lead. The video, directed by Jay Rodriguez, can be seen below. Ice-T told Consequence Of Sound about Cavalera's appearance on "All Love Is Lost": "Max, we bumped into him on the road — we opened up for SEPULTURA back in the day, when they played with MINISTRY — and he jumped on the record and actually brought some music to the sessions. "Max helped us do 'All Love Is Lost'. That's such a brutal [song], you can't really sing about 'I love my mother' on it. It's, like, you're mad. It lended to a song about someone who's betrayed you." "Bloodlust" was recorded with producer Will Putney (MISS MAY I, UPON A BURNING BODY), who also helmed 2014's "Manslaughter". The CD features additional guest appearances by MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine and LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe. The effort also contains BODY COUNT's medley of the SLAYER songs "Postmortem" and "Raining Blood".
