The band was formed in March/April of 2010 after Gilian disbanded his previous band called Rager. He soon hooked up with a local drummer Tine who was also into NWOBHM and speed metal music. First songs took shape - those we're mainly Gil's ideas from the past but some new stuff was being made too, giving a hint to what kind of direction the band would take. After a few unsuccessful auditions Anzo joined on bass and quickly tightened up the sound of the band.
The band named themselves VIGILANCE and recorded a three track demo with Gil on vocals, two ex-Rager songs and a brand new one called "The White Horde". Since then, Jakob joined on vocals, gigs took place and the band is now in full gear. A few months later, in April 2011 the band started recording material. EP Steeds of Time got released on the 15th of October by Haliaetum Records. About two months later the band released a demo/single called Behind The Cellar Door.
Tracklist:
1. Vigilance
2. Out of the Sun
3. The Steeds of Time (instrumental)
4. Iron Beast
5. The White Horde
Oke, for the dudes and dudettes who really don't feel like reading all that stuff up there, just know that.
If you're into bands like the early Iron Maiden, Satan, Cloven Hoof, Angel Witch, Exciter, Tank, Sortilege and such, be sure to check our stuff. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Cheers!
