I haven't bought anything bad... except METALLICA's St. Anger last year.

What does a "worst album purchase" consist of? If you only purchase 6 albums, one will be the worst, but I like everything I've bought, nothing has been a disastrous disappointment. I can mention 56 albums I’ve bought that aren’t as good as my top 5, but these are still good; not worthy of the title "Worst Purchases of 2005"

Well, like you said, I don't necassarily think they are bad albums, but they are either not as good as my five favorites or dissapointments (except the new Stratovarius, that cd sucks). And I completely forgot about "Battle Metal." That should be in my top five as well.

Worst albums? Generally I try to have a listen or partial listen before I part with my cold hard cash. I'll have to have a longer think about that one.

although there has been many great albums added to my collection this year Starbreaker,Soul Sirkus and Shadow Gallery all are superb has been a good year
as for the worst i cant say i have made a bad purchase this year so far, but i will be sure to put it up when i do
