Virus vs. This Godless Endeavor artwork

Hey I'm sorry if the link doesn't work!!! You'll have to use the old copy+paste way.

As far as I know it is the same artist who made both covers.

I sincerely feel that caring about this issue would be a waste of my time.

I'm just wondering if Nevermore knows about the similaritys on the two covers, if i was in a band i would freak out on the artist for reusing/redoing an idea that he had already used for another band.

Heads on spikes? Thats pussy shit.:Smokedev:

^ the picture details says it is.

whats the beef with the movie? is that real? :ill:

No, not real, just a disturbing piece of the late 70's/early 80's italian horror genre, cannibal films were big then, and that one is among the most horrible, as it uses REAL animal killings in the course of the film.

No defense can ever be given to killing things for a fictional movie if you ask me. Of course, I can't stand these types of movies, so I'm not gonna be able to give you the best opinion about them, but IMHO, I think it's utter crap. But, too each his own.

Sorry to bring back a 1000 year old thread, but I couldn't help myself.
Went to Hugh Syme's website (he did both album's covers), and found out that the original illustration for the Virus cover (released in 96) is this:
