Holy fucking christ this album kills.

From the very second track 2 starts.

I'm not all the way through it yet, and the year is not over, and I am decided this is the best death metal release of 2007.

yeah its pretty fuckin good. I kinda like the dirty production of dechristianize more (minus the drums, which sound a lot better in this one), but Icons of Evil is definitely a high quality album.

Ive decided that I like them equally for the following reason:
Dechristianize for me was Great overall, with two amazing standout tracks (Dechristianize and Devoured Elysium)
Icons of Evil, after 3 listens seems to be Very Great overall, with no standout tracks.
I think it balances out.
