Sad news, but not a surprise, after Mike joined Masterplan.

I'm sure that Mark Reale will find a suitable singer.

I'd be ECSTATIC to see Tony Moore back on vocals. Riot has been a solid band for years, but as far as I'm concerned, Thundersteel is one of the best albums of all time. The Privilege of Power was excellent as well.

It isn't going to happen, but those records still stand up today, and I'd put TS against any of the top "classic" power metal albums, such as Keeper II or Land of the Free.

I knew the Masterplan business was not good for Riot. It's sad because I love the DiMeo era even if the last two albums were a bit weak.

I guess Masterplan offers a better touring option (and hence money) than Riot...

yup, as good as Riot is, people need a good income to live and Masterplan probably offers a much more decent income than Riot at the moment. Probably the Riot income isn't even enough to live from these days, so I don't blame the guy stepping towards Masterplan...
