April 23rd, Clifton Park, NY. This is the nearest place for me. I could do the 6-hour drive to finally see Volbeat, one of my fave bands...I'll definitely think about it. And it's on a Saturday, so it's even better...

Can't find tour dates online with a cursory Google search, but this gives me the info I need to know. Anything else in the Midwest? Des Moines? Omaha? Tulsa? Goddamn tours. Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis are not the only Midwestern cities with metal fans!

Actually, I only slept an hour last night and in my exhaustion confused myself.

Sabaton is playing NYC the date of the wedding and Rochester the date of the rehearsal dinner.
Volbeat is just playing a Wed which is really hard for me to make it to since I need to take time off from work. The added date is also a Wednesday. HOWEVER, since you mentioned they added a date, I looked at their tour schedule and low and behold they are playing Clifton Park, 10 minutes from my house, on a Saturday.

Between this and Apocalyptica in March, I'm going to feel spoiled.
