I have to agree with you, there are certain songs on the first album I like but the second has a lot more songs I like (almost the whole album).

I am glad to see the U.S release date. I prefer the 2nd cd. I have played it to death in the shop i work at and everyone is Volbeat crazy at this time. They will do very well.

+1 Though I have to say that I may enjoy The Garden's Tale a tad more. It's a hard album from which to pick a favorite.

I like the first one better as well, but the second one is good. I actually downloaded their first one right after it came out, so I had those songs on my brain quite a bit longer than the tunes from the second disc.

I must say, since my first Volbeat experience was with songs from their second album, I prefer that one. However, it's not like the two are very much different from one another in style. As long as they stay consistent, a new album is certainly something to look forward to.
