Hey guys,

I know I can always look to the gear brain trust here for most of my musical issues!!!

I love using the poulin ams sim stuff and impulses in lecab, just stuck on how to switch tones in a live setting? Is there an easy way to load these and have the ability to switch sounds. or maybe even just switch tracks with the loaded vsts via a midi foot pedal on the fly?

Any help would be much appreciated?

I think it's possible with a midi pedal yes, I think it's programmable in some DAWs a way or another. Maybe look into Live, it should have such a functionnality ?

If you are playing to a click with backing track and so on, you can just have different tracks for different sounds/FX/setups, and just automate their volumes or mute/unmute states.

Actually it's very easy to do ! I jam along my track this way. If you need a disto sound, and a clean sound, just have 2 tracks with recording and monitoring activated, and automate the volume for each of them. It means than both will use ressources at all times, you can probably optimize but unless you're talking 10 tracks, a 2012 laptop should be able to manage them with a decent latency.

I suppose it's possible to use a midi pedal, if you have midi learn available in some vsts to do it manually.
