Ok - who is going to Wacken this year?

I am going to be in England/Scotland in the middle of August anyway ..... so when some random person in the line at Stanmore Macca's reminded me when Wacken was I had no choice but to tack a visit to Germany onto the begining of my trip

Got some serious saving to do between now and then but it should be worth it

I would love to go, but yes, I won't be able to afford it, and will probably be too busy anyway.

I wanna go to the Bang Your Head festival in Germany... Dio, Twisted Sister and TNT have already been confirmed...

And the Sweden Rock Festival too... Twisted Sister, Queensryche, Whitesnake, Blind Guardian and heaps of classic '70s hard rock/metal acts and current Euro power metal bands.

I would LOVE to go to Wacken. Might have to wait a couple of years, till I'm living in the UK.

Dio is also on my list, but I actually think he is immortal and will outlast us all with his metalness

We (that's the Royal We, as in My Husband and I ) may be going, but haven't decided as yet. I want to see if it clashes with any of the big festivals in the UK first as frankly I'd rather see one of those.

What would be cool would be if they held the Beer Festival in August - just after the finish of Wacken. Then you could be guaranteed of a lot of people going there instead of the UK
