Wacken forum

Hi all,
I have just found out about this forum and it looks great. I was browsing around and I was surprised that there is no forum under "Heavy Metal Festivals" about Wacken Open Air. How can it be?

It is always hard to say which festival is the best in the world, but definitely Wacken is in the top 10 (for me is the best but I haven't attended any in the US)

Attending Wacken is definitely one thing I would love to do at some point in my life.

If anyone reads this and has been to Wacken: How is it? What is it like?

I have been for the past for years and the experience is more than just music. The atmophere, the people,.., everything. It is something you have to experience by your own.
The first time I went to try and now my life is organized around the festival. The only issue is that they have a lot of German bands that I am not familiar with, but there is still enough variety.

Beside this, it is the best organized festival I have ever seen. You know, toilets, food, beerplaces...
