I've heard Phil Lewis and have met Steve Riley and Tracci Guns of L.A. Guns. I liked their first album and a few of Cocked and Loaded. But...., to say Phil Lewis is better than Geoff Tate or Warrel is, in my opinion, completely absurd. He has a decent voice, but no range like Tate or Warrel. To each his own.
