It's our quantities and margins... we manufacture hundreds at a time and we don't have much left over to go party with. I am at my day job right now responding to this thread because Warm Audio doesn't provide a living (at this point anyway), but is more a fun side-gig. For those that "get" what this company is about... enjoy!

For those of you that know me know that I'm fairly particular about what goes into WA gear. Warm Audio is about full-grade, full-quality, no BS. When I started recording 15 years ago I bought soooo much gear that was not very good in the low-mid price range. So I started Warm to shake up the industry, lower the greed and give real musicians real tools.

Interesting. I have an 1176 clone that I barely use.. in fact, I've used it twice in 2 years. If I was buying instead of building, this guy would've got my monies.

Its really incredible that WA is offering these for so little profit. Using cinemag transformers must be a big part of the cost of these units.
