I would love to go to this and almost any other year, I probably would have. It's just not in the cards this year.

I actually wanted to and was planning on it but Scorpions is the same night here in Chicago and all the bands I want to see are playing on the friday night. Saturday is a collection of bands I have zero interest in so I am passing this year.

I was planning on going last year when i was told what the original headliners would be but then they dropped off of it an dsome other personal things came up where i cant attend. The original headliners i was told was Jag Panzer and Mystic Prophecy

Yes im familiar with those circumstances. i really wanted to see the Jag. And i just saw Helstar last year at Ragnarokkr and im sure Manilla Road will come to Chicago relatively soon, they're due to be here.
Hah, I'm in the same boat. I actually bought a ticket but now it's looking like I won't make it out there. Oh well...at least I supported the fest with my ticket purchase, I guess.

ahahahahaha....I have unfortunatly have seen them before at DRI / Diamond Plate at Bobby McGee's last December. Terrible band. Dont know why they got booked for the pre-show at WOM fest....this would be a reason not to go to it.

We played with their other band CLOCK TOWER at that Sanctuary show.
It was funny. They were deciding backstage whether to go out and do a Smash Potater set or a Clock Tower set.

who cares if they are nice kids or not....they play shit music with zero skills. Dont know why a fest would book them because no one would travel 3 states away for them. You would be better off booking a local that would draw.
