FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH singer Ivan Moody has introduced his own answer to Jimmy Kimmel's popular comedy bit "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets". In the six-minute video below, Moody can be seen reacting to trolling at its most acute by reading the comments that were posted below BLABBERMOUTH.NET's most recent FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH story, headlined "Five Finger Death Punch Guitarist Says Ivan Moody Is 'Sober' And 'Happy' With 'A Totally New Outlook On Life'". The clip, which was filmed last night in Las Vegas, starts out with Ivan saying: "What's up, everybody? This is Ivan from DEATH PUNCH, and I just got to my house in Vegas from the SHINEDOWN-FFDP tour, which was really, really cool. And I was sifting through different web sites, I was checking up on media, even though you wouldn't think that I do. And I was reading one [interview] on Blabbermouth that Zoltan [Bathory, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH guitarist] did, and he's really giving me a lot of kudos and thumbs up for being in recovery and the way I'm handling it and just the happy shit that comes along with it. So I really wanna say I appreciate that first and foremost, so thank you; I love you. And anyway, I was reading through the comments underneath it. It reminded me of Jimmy Kimmel's 'mean tweets' or 'celebrity mean tweets,' which I'm sure a lot of you know I'm not a celebrity and will probably comment on that. Anyway, so let me share some of these with you, 'cause I think they're fucking hilarious." For Ivan's reactions to the BLABBERMOUTH.NET comments, watch the clip below. Moody recently opened up about his struggles with alcohol addiction in an interview with the Green Bay radio station Razor 94.7. Saying that he is now more than three months sober, Moody revealed that he nearly died due to an alcohol-related seizure and woke up surrounded by EMTs and his daughter holding him while crying. Moody said that he was sober but massively hung over during his onstage meltdown in Europe last summer, with the band sending him home after that and later welcoming him back on a "probationary" basis after both Phil Labonte from ALL THAT REMAINS and Tommy Vext from BAD WOLVES filled in on a couple of tours. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's latest album, "And Justice For None", was released on May 18.
