Watch me live in the studio! Drum tracking today.

Yea, decided to work on another tune, working things out now, tracking in a moment. Missed all the good stuff earlier.

Yeah I never went back on, went home and passed out. I was only on for 10 mins before getting bored of what I was seeing. If you had turned the camera around so I could have watched what you were doing I might have stuck it out longer. A vacant kit was nothing special to look at.

You were probably on for the only real gap in playing when we had to drop some scratch guitars real quick, haha.

I'm actually thinking of rigging up multiple cameras in the studio and figuring out a way to bring multiple feeds in and switch between them.

I'm digging the tune you're tracking now. Great riffage.

Edit: I guess it's not live steam anymore. Duh. Still like it.

Yeah that would be cool as fuck. I need to jump on this bandwagon I think it's fucking cool as shit.

Dude, I got it working. It's not cheap, but it's pretty kickass.

Using one of these camears for now combined with my laptop's on-board camera. Eventually we're going to grab 2 more of those cameras and mount them in the live room, vocal booth and control room.

I'm using Wirecast 4 to broadcast to UStream. The cool bit is it will transition between the cameras automatically if you so choose. Not only that, but you can broadcast to different sites simultaneously.

Wirecast isn't cheap, though ($500 :yow:), and I'm lucky that our studio's owner already had it for conference shit for his other business...Otherwise I'd have bought UStream's Producer Pro which is $200 and has similar features. I'm not sure you can broadcast to different sites simultaneously, though.

(UStream Producer Pro is just a stripped-down repackaged version of Wirecast)

Also, from Thursday through Wednesday, we will be tracking guitar and bass.
