not to my ears, i prefer VTM but only used it borrowing another guys ilok so i got this to tide me over, the slap delay is a nice feature and the wow & flutter and flux are cool controls, but hard to turn down for £17

I demoed it and ended up grabbing it. It gets nasty pretty quick when you push it, especially when you crank the flux knob, but in a cool way. It seemed like it would be cool for when VTM is a little too clean and you want something more over the top.

Yep, me too. The Waves model of "we make everything cost one million dollars, unless you pay $900,000, in which case you get 20 things, 19 of which you don't necessarily need" is incredibly silly IMO. I just wait until things like this pop up and snatch them. If they reduced the prices of these tools (most of which were created 10+ yrs ago, IIRC?) by 50-70% I'd buy more of them more frequently.
