my hi-z input of the creative x-fi elite pro seems to overdrive when the preamp is set to 0. this calls for a di box i think and than use the line in of the soundcard with it.
reamping would be the next step so im kind looking at this one here:

so i wonder what to get?
a di and a reamp box or the redeye... or a good di which can be used for both
the di- boxes i have are not that satisfying anymore when used reversed for reamping. not even for di recording. some lose bass ant other highs.
