Way OT: Article on colon cancer

I was contemplating whether or not to post this since it isn't remotely close to Anthrax related, but I figured what the fuck - if you don't want to read it, you don't have to. But that doesn't mean I can't post it. It basically talks about how colon cancer is becoming more common among guys in their 20s and 30s and, well, thats the age of I would say a vast majority of us, so I thought it might be of some interest to someone.

This is a good thing to be aware of. In January, I had surgery to remove about a foot of intestine, along with my appendix. During the operation, they diagnosed me with Crohn's Disease, which effects the colon. Where the large and small intestine meet, it was ten times the normal size. I now have to take fourteen pills a day, for an indefinite period, seeing as how there is no cure for it. Also, Jewish people (me being one of them) are three to five times more likely to develop the disease than anyone else.

my mates mum has it & it fuckin sucks anyway good luck with it & hopefully it will ease upone day.

How come it´s more common among jews?

It's a little confusing. There is a genetic predisposition for it. It's more common for Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Jews (which I am not) to develop it. Thank you for your kind words though, everyone.

I don´t know what will kill me, my family dies from all kinds of stuff. Maybe some form of cancer. Am glad we don´t tend to get alzheimer or simlilar illnesses.

Diseases suck! They really piss me off! Especially Cancer I dont understand it! You can get Cancer of any part of your body! They should all be banned!
