It is rare for me to go to a show and actually see an opening band that really impresses me. Really can't remember the last time that happened, let alone the first of three openers.
So, went to Kings X in Raleigh last night (great show btw).
Grabbed a seat at the bar as I figured that I had three openers that I knew nothing about and what I was expecting little from. Well, was absolutely blown away by what are three 18yr old or so kids out of Greensboro.
Chatted with them for a brief period afterwards...been playing together for about 5 years and just self released their first album of which I picked up. These guys have a future!!!
