Actually that's exactly what she will be. This nonsense of her being Princess Consort is just a notion to get the masses used to the idea of the marriage - in actual fact she will automatically be Queen when Charles is crowned King. Whether she chooses to use the title or not is besides the point - she will be Queen Camilla.

Currently we are awaiting an amendment of the 1949 Marriage Act which upholds a previous Marriage Act in it's ruling that the Royal Family are not allowed to take part in Civil wedding ceremonies (although they can in Scotland). This law was used against Princess Margaret back in the 50's when she wanted to marry Group Captain Peter Townsend. The Royals are saying that they have sought legal advice and that everything is hunky dory - alas it is not, and technically the couple could be seen as not married. Oh what a tangled web we weave.

Actually I did smell a rat when they brought up that whole Princess Consort thing, as far as I knew you couldn't be made a king via marriage but you could be made the queen.

I think that's the law (or whatever you wanna call it) that they are now trying to get changed. I doubt too many people would give a fudge if he couldn't become King... afterall, Prince William is more popular then he is anyway
