weird shit happening WTF?

so Im sitting here at my desk, at the sweet spot between my monitors. I notice that when I quit safari, a little bit of hum, or low level noise disappears.
then I launch safari and BAM its back again. just a little hum. going to be making sure safari isnt open during sessions (no duh... but vocals and bass are boring, I want to surf god damn it!)

I think it's the color/brightness of the screen using different amounts of electricity, and since your screen being on is already affecting the amount of hum, so maybe try to down the brightness or so?

Yeah FIrefox does that for me too. I tested it though, even if I'm recording something it doesn't make its way into the track... Just comes out the monitor. Moving my mouse makes a slight noise too.
