The 'Distinguished Talent' visa (which is for 4 years) wasn't going to be approved for a few more months and so we were totally screwed seeing we start recording this Thursday (!!!), but we've managed to get him back on a short business term visa for 3 months to record the album (guitar recording starts on Dec 1), and then hopefully the distinguished talent visa will be approved not too long after this visa runs out (or even before).

So still waiting on that big one to get the long term confirmation, but getting him back for the album is a massively, hugely and relieving big step in the process.

Man dealing with immigration is a pain in the arse....
