Every year in Tarvisio, where my drummer lives, there is a very old traditional festival called Krampus. It's a celebration of old pagan folklore still celebrated after centuries, and basically it's about demons coming from the underworld to drag mortals back with them, mainly young females. It's mainly a Germanic/Slavic tradition, and since Tarvisio is on the Austrian border they celebrate it too. They roam the streets and literally abduct them for the festival and take them back to their lair and someone has to come find them. It's fucking badass...
