Yo,

So im a quite big DT fan (cough*) so i thought i'd check if there is anyone that wants to take on one of their song. I know it is a quite ambitious project to say the least but if it goes well we got one killer recording.
I know that there are not many people who can play a whole song or have the patience to learn one but i might as well ask, as i know there are allot of great musicians hanging around here

The hardest part would be the drums, we could do with programmed drums and if anyone is up to that you can announce that you're interested.

I thought i would do the vocals, and not to brag but i could probably pull of almost every song, even the old stuff.
I would also do the mixing and the mastering.

Guitarist and Bassist could provide with just the DI's.

The songs that i've been thinking about is:

Under a Glass moon
Voices
About to crash

But of course im open for suggestions. Tell me what you think!!!

I'd maybe be up for it, don't have a whammy for under a glassmoon though, and I don't stray any further than drop D tuning wise
Standard tuning all the way for me, any songs like 'take the time' or 'constant motion' would be good

Out of those choices I vote for Under a Glass Moon first, then Voices, but maybe we could explore all possibilities if it becomes a reality?

Sloppier and a first take done 3 years ago. I learnt this medley as part of a competition, some of it was still pretty freshly learned. (we won btw). I'd give it my all to have an awesomely mixed DT track with me playing on.

(And if anyone points out how I fucked up the sweeps on Under a Glass Moon, well, it was unfortunate!) lol

Both of which rules me out. I don't have a 7 string any more.

Some LTE could be fun though, dare I say, even more challenging.

Learning DT songs on bass is an old hobby of mine, I could do the bass for whatever song you choose. I don't have a 6 string, but in most cases my 5 string should be enough

@botus99, can you record the drums in somewhat professionell manors?? I think that is the biggest problem, but if you can then thats great

I probably know a guy who can lay down the keys. The first step is to get the drums recorded and have them sent to me for some editing, and after that we can send it out to the rest of the people.

Ok I'm in for the bass on under a glass moon, Ill start learning and practicing it tommorrow in my practice schedule. I always like to record the bass after all drums and rhythm guitars are done so I'll have some time to perfect it.

I really like this idea and I'm sure it'll turn out great
