Saw him use three fingers...very disciplined player (well-learned I suppose). As for the band, I don't like them but Jörg Michael was a killer Drummer (listen to what he did with Mekong Delta, if you survive their singer...) and Jari is a real good bassist, as heard on Strato's live album (very upfront...and listen to the drumsolo!)

I saw Varius live and stood in front of Jari K. It was really amazing, although he played the same licks over and over again. The coolest thing was the fact he played with 2 fingers all the time.

i have seen him using only two fingers, and he is pretty fast at it,

but his speed isnt enough, i mean i respect the guy and all but his basslines are so straight forward and rarely even rythmic its like
