I work for a production company that's making a documentary for BBC Four which tells the history of British music from 1956 to present - from skiffle to punk, hip hop and, of course, heavy metal! We're currently crowdsourcing memories and memorabilia - ticket stubs, wrist bands, diary entries, photos, video and audio recordings - everything and anything that tells a story of your experience as a fan of heavy metal.
If you think you have anything then please go to this website: www.phop.co.uk and upload a picture/ embed the recording. Everything uploaded will become part of an incredible online archive that will culminate in a TV series to air in 2016, featuring the best of what's been uploaded to the site.
