what do u think about this mix? 5150/sampled drums

I think the guitars sound a bit too crisp/clear compared to those drums, or the drums are a bit lacking in that department, it depends on how you look at it.
It sounds good, but like you said it needs glue.. if you have waves, try C4 and R-comp, first r-comp and set it so that the mix mixes itself a bit, then the C4 (multibandcompression) to get some more attack and cut off freqs you dont like.
Any compressor will do i think, just try that on the masterbus first.

Also, bass! the very foundation of a mix, you need it man.

Strange, I can still listen to the latest two links you posted though. You have a decent foundation for a mix here, but everything sounds really muffled. Guitars could definitely use some bite to clear them up in the mix.

your mixing room may be bottom light, resulting in a puffy bottom. maybe try pulling a bit-o-bottom from the guitars to give the bass room to breath.

my reamp did have a really thick bottom that may need some thinning.
