what do you guys think of bittorrent?

i also wanted to see what you cats think of the new file-sharing technology called bittorrent. we're piloting it on our site for full album downloads, because we think it's going to make it WAY faster to download large files (i.e. full album zips, lossless wav's, etc.) once it catches on.

anybody else using bittorrent? good, bad, or indifferent?

wow i actually hadn't heard about this technology. Sounds like it could be great for fans who like to download whole albums, however, if it got to be a huge thing, it also sounds like it could be dangerous on the virus side of things. But I'll have to look into that! Awesome!
