What do you guys think of Ghost?

The japanese psychedelic band. I think I remember someone mentioning them on this forum, and the vocals remind me a bit of those in Kayo Dot. I'm really quite enthralled by their new album, Hypnotic Underworld.

I picked this up today at work... AMAZING... I am so into it. The coverdesign/art is really cool. There are some very Kayo Dot-esque moments.

no, the moments that remind me of KD most are during the quiet parts, especially in the vocals, but somewhat arrangement-wise as well.

And if im not mistaken peices like wayfarer have some influence from japanese scales and such (sorry my theory sucks so i dont really have a good way to describe it) , and Ghost in a very much not cheesy way uses a lot of that sort of stuff.. Its high quality.
