I dont fucking get it! I waited a liong time for new VH and this is what comes out?
the music is good but what the fuck is going on with Sammy and Mike?
I always considered Gary Cerone as the worst lyric writer of all time, this of course goes back to Extreme's first radio single "Momma dont wanna go to school today". The lyrics that Sammy has thrown into these 3 songs are terrible. Mike;s background vocals are comical.
It almost seems that Sammy came back and had 20 minutes to throw down lyrics.
I have been a lifelong VH fanatic and this is the most disappointing listen I have ever experienced.

Well, I am kinda liking them at the moment. I havent actually paid too much attention to the lyrics yet, but I am diggin the music as well. They dont seem like serious songs, which could explain the questionable lyrics.

Heavy Metal ruined me!!
I actually liked the first song that was posted, but the two new tunes are just plain awful! This does not give me high hopes that a new album by these guys is going to be any good. There are dozen other bands with new albums coming that I look forward to more than this.
