That said, I bought the album a while ago and I like it a lot. Do you happen to know how the guitars were recorded (amps/cabs/mics)?

There has been a threat about the band earlier anyway - A lot of positive stuff in there afaik.

I did an interview with the singer about 8 months ago or so. Didn't ask about production details but the funny thing is he works at a company that produces bass guitars (while being a guitarplayer himself). Then they went down Christian of Fear Factory to record the album and he (who is endorsed by Jackson as you probably know) recommends the guys ESP guitars!

I like it. It feels like Meshuggah/Fear Factory with a little in flames kind of things occasionaly. The singer has a great high scream.

Yeah, I've been raving about your band for a while on here. Probably my favorite album of 2006. That's saying alot, since all the great albums from 2006: Gojira, Goathore, etc. Threat Signal needs to stop at Kansas City on this tour!

From the recording pics on the photobucket link from the site, it looks like it was a Krankenstein with stock cab, SM57 on axis and a Royer 122, With what looked like Neve preamps, into an 002R.
