What is best concert!!!

Seen almost every band that I have wanted to see over the years. Of bands that it would still be possible to see, Deep Purple with the classic line-up that did Machine Head and Perfect Strangers would top my list. Would still like to see George Thorogood and Tom Petty sometime, too.

Only other ones I would have liked to see aren't possible any more due to deaths: Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Death, Jimi Hendrix and Randy Rhoads.

I would love to see The Iron Maidens, Damage Inc., and Just Like Priest all in one day under the sunny skies.

Lucky me, I saw the Perfect Strangers tour (Ian's voice blew me away)...I would love to see them again. I also saw Randy Rhoads when he was with Ozzy (I wish I still had that ticket but I tossed it). Hendrix and Doors would be very cool. Lynyrd Skynyrd with the 70's lineup, but that'll never happen due to deaths. The band exists now, but there's only one original member and they just don't have that magic they did with the original members. I'd also like to see, or more like wish I could have seen Iron Maiden with Paul DiAnno in the early years. I still would like to see the Eagles, but man their tickets are insanely expensive so it just hasn't happened (yet). AC/DC, I saw them with Bon Scott, but still not with Brian Johnson. Krokus I'd like to see too. Accept with Udo. Montrose. UFO. I'm sure there's more.

Jeez hard question.....

Could be Pantera at Donnington Monsters of Rock in 1994
Or Sepultura at the same event. Both of which I figured the pit looked inviting.

It could be even Neil young with Pearl Jam as his backing band....especially when they did rocking in the free world.

Or it could be Skid row playing to a club of under 100 people.

It could be the red hot chili peppers in 1994, before they really sold out.
It may have been Metallica, Megadeth, the almighty and diamondhead in 1993

Could even have Been Guns and roses in 1992, with Faith no more and soundgarden.

I take gigs for what they are, there is no best and there is no worst, I go to see bands I like so all gigs are good for me.

My life has not been the same since Jerry Garcia left us. I was at the last show in Chicago. I would give my left nut for it to all be a hoax and the Grateful Dead are back on tour. It was like being back home to a place you never been.

Grateful Dead tour would be weird though now with cell phones and internet. It's not like you just pile in a VW bus and cross the country randomly bumping in to other Deadheads in rest stops in the middle of Ohio. Then you show up in the parking lot and randomly bump into some chick you had a crush on last tour, but had no idea where she was or how to contact her. Being on a steady diet of shrooms, veggie burritos, and electric Kool-Aid wasn't half bad either.

Never made it to 100. Only 98 Dead shows.

I'll call in a favor owed to me by the gods and see what I can do to make this one happen. How does Dec. 4 at the Santa Fe Springs Swap sound?

Lord Gundam, your wish is a tad harder to pull off--I may have to sell my soul to the devil for this one...but I'm willing!! :headbang:

Judas Priest / Slayer in Irvine, CA 1988
Crowbar / Goatwhore in Lafayette, LA 2009
