They rule. Coincidentally i am listening to Destroy the Opposition. Saw them live couple weeks back and they slayed much more that any other band on the bill.

Dying Fetus are awsome, saw them last week with Cannibal Corpse and Necrophagist, awsome musicians, great music.

I have all their albums, but Purification Through Violence and Killing On Adrenaline are my favorites. KILL YOUR MOTHER...RAPE YOUR DOOOOOOG

I'll agree with Kev here. Don't like the stuff I've heard, too little riff quality and structure for me.

It's bands like these that seem like they play "brutal" just to be "brutal". Along with other countless Death Metal bands. You can't go wrong with Old School Swedish or Floridian Death Metal bands though...Plus Pestilence! And countless others, but you get the point

My take on this is that I prefer riff-based brutality rather than the whole overdone slam death thing. I see Vader as a way better and more brutal band than Devourment, just because Vader sound natural while the latter comes off as very forced.

Yeah "slam death" isn't my cup of tea...Skinless...Devourment...Dying Fetus...blah! I'm slowly getting out of death metal with the sudden explosion of shit bands...for example the whole Unique Leaders label...the most boring death metal ever...Decrepit Birth...ughhhh Severed Savior UGH!!!!!!

I think I'll stick with what I learned first...Suffocation, Morbid Angel, Death, Older Hypocrisy, Grave, Unleashed, Pestilence, Atheist, Cynic..yadda yadda...

i like dying fetus, especially "killing on adrenaline". fine riffs, fine technique...
