I could have sworn that I read something that Chris posted somewhere stating that the show this year was going to start earlier and not run as late... Not quite sure what all that meant though...

Pretty hard to do that, especially when you consider the logistics of getting all the bands there, some bands may fly/drive in on Friday anyway, figuring out the way everything will be set up stage-wise, getting all the gear in, placing vendors (if there are any) in places, fixing the band merch area...
Man, are you sure 7:30 is late enough?
Little do people realize the insane logistics of such a show.
