If you could pair any two bands/artists together for a tour, whom would they be?

I'd LOVE to see Opeth & My Dying Bride together (didn't they actually tour together a few years back?).

Another great package would be the Gathering & Katatonia! I feel they complement eachother well!

Or Porcupine Tree & Anathema!!!

And finally, Pearl Jam & the Tea Party would ROCK!

I'd like to see Meshuggah + Tool, but they're not touring Germany

Buahaha, they're coming to a small city that's like 20 minutes away from me. I'm not going however as I don't like either band.

I'd like to see Opeth opening for...Opeth.

I would love to see Opeth headlining a nice loooooong set.., Nile,Opeth, MDB, Blood Bath, Arch Enemy, OR Opeth, (old) Amorphis, MDB, Katonia,Anathema, Agolloch, Vehemence.. Four bands in any combonation..Don't know if those tours would sell alot of tickets in America..Bands like Korn are shamefully big here, but I would go see a lineup like that..Hails..-l-

Heres my fucked up dream tour....

Opening act:
Evergrey

Pain of Salvation

Symphony X

Opeth

All these bands dont have much in common but for me it would be a great mix.

Opeth and Arch Enemy
Opeth and SFU (after they kick chris barnes' ass out and kill ice T)
Opeth and anyone else (that would give me time to show up late since I'd only be there for Opeth anyway)
Aerosmith and Deicide, just for the hell of it

Radiohead - The Microphones (Prog-rock and prog-pop ahoy!)
Opeth - Porcupine Tree (The Calm Before the Storm Tour)
Converge - The Dillinger Escape Plan (The Bring Your EarPlugs Tour)
Limp Bizkit - Puddle of Mudd - Nickelback (The Bring Your Sniper Rifle (and plenty of bullets) Tour)

Limp Bizkit - Puddle of Mudd - Nickelback (The Bring Your Sniper Rifle (and plenty of bullets) Tour)

Hahaha nice. *orders backstage passes*

Fantomas -> Samael -> Opeth

Satyricon -> Marduk -> Emperor

Arch Enemy -> At The Gates -> Dark Tranquillity

Vader -> Cryptopsy -> Strapping Young Lad

Katatonia -> Devin Townsend -> Ulver

Buckethead -> Primus -> Mr Bungle

My Dying Bride -> Death -> Carcass

ok...I'll stop now. haha And yes, I do realize some of those tours are impossible for obvious reasons.

Hell, I'd drop a band just to have Opeth come to Montana. Anyway,

Opeth - Tool (the original choice)
Opeth - Soilwork
The Crown - The Haunted
Nevermore - Opeth (and they like each other too!)
Katatonia - Opeth (along with Nevermore, but they won't be listed, so it's like two bands, but not)
