Whatever Happened to David Gray and Jason Mendonca?

Akercocke was a masterpiece of a band and I remember when they announced the breakup in 2010, and then Matt and Dave started up The Antichrist Imperium and they played a festival in Europe but nothing else came of it. I was at least expecting one album to come out of that project... Anyone read up on anything from the latter part of this year concerning these guys or perhaps even manage to to talk to them?

didn't even know akercocke split up permanently. thought they were just on hiatus.

Yeah I thought they were on hiatus as well. I heard that the drummer and guitarist are forming a side project, or at least I thought it was a side project.
