I've experimented quite a bit with listening to different CD's while under the influence of various drugs. Alot of stoner, doom, etc. concerts I go to I'll often smoke before hand, for example, seeing boris high was fucking AWESOME. Then last week I went to go see Sunn0))) live. Totally beyond anything I've ever felt music wise. The aura surrounding the show was something akin to a black metal version of a buddhist meditation ceremony. They had so much fog in the room by the time they hit the stage that I could barely see there amps, which were about 15 feet away. The air itself felt like it was vibrating, my whole body was being massaged by sub-bass tones.

dude seriously. the most surreal show i've ever been to was Sunn O))), and i was contemplating even sticking around to see them after Boris kicked all kinds of ass right before. either way i'm glad i did and will definitely see them again.
