It's not like NYC or San Francisco, places that are set up to hold a gigantic amount of people in a small area, no. SoCal is set up like a tiny suburb (outside of downtown LA), but since it's overpopulated and has near zero public transportation, life becomes a giant hassle.

Everyone has that friend out in California that calls you up for no reason "hey man, what are you doin!??! I'm just sittin' in the sun, it's great!" Sometimes I feel like calling them for no reason "hey man, what are you doin?!?! I'm reading a BOOK! Yeah, we READ on the east coast!"

That beer broad quote about books being worthless unless turned into a movie? That isn't exactly uncommon out here. I know perfectly intelligent people that have told me "I hate reading." HATE READING WTF.
