I am having trouble finding out what these certain songs are about?
I've read the lyrics over and over, but it just does not klick...

So, if anyone of you nice people could help me, i would be glad.

The specific two that i'm thinking about, aaareee...

Northern Comfort

Maybe it can help some other of you aswell, what do i know...

Don't know about Kissing the Shadows, but as far as Northern Comfort it seems to be at least partly about self-medication with alcohol, and the name comes from Southern Comfort which is a liquer.

There was also an old finnish interview where Alexi spoke about meaning of every song on FTR. He said that Northern Comfort is just about drinking and drinking too much and Kissing the Shadows is just like Joonas said.
