What's the target date for the remainder of the Showcase roster?

As I mentioned earlier this evening in the PPUSA IRC channel, Shane could book Green Day, and my enthusiam for this years overall lineup would not even flinch. Kudos to both Glenn and Shane.

I'm already sold on just on VP alone! I'd like to know ASAP, as well, but I don't want to rush Shane either. The guy just got engaged, so there's lots to deal with right there. Not to mention, we just had the holiday season. And I don't know how the budget situation works but, maybe he had to wait for Glenn to finalize his roster, to know how much money there will be left for the Showcase openers. And if so, then he wouldn't have been able to start negotiating with any opening bands until the other day, around when AF was signed. Plus, you have to remember that the main festival bands have been announced early, so if Shane isn't ahead, like Glenn is, to have had all the bands signed already, we can't know. It would be cool to know his deadline, if everything goes to plan, but I'll cut the guy some slack.

I am kidding, people need to lighten up,loosen up the jocks....I am thinking Shane is finalizing the deals still that why he hasn't posted anything. We have a few months until the tickets even go on sale....

Yeah, no band names really neccessary at this point, I just think most of us want another announcement to look forward to (even though we already have one killer of a festival to look forward to).

Just a guess, but I have a feeling that the reason Shane hasn't said anything yet about an actualy date (or even an estimated date) for when the rest of the pre-show line-up will be announced is becuase he just wants to focus on doing it (booking the bands) and then worry about telling everyone when it happens.

I'm sure Shane probably has already picked out who's in the running for those two remaining spots, but I figure it can't hurt to throw in my two sense, since everyone else is doing it too:

As far as the rest of the line-up, There are still some things to work out. I will tell you that my budget is low at the moment because of VP and FK. I am pursuing a couple of things that may fly, and may not......

I will let everyone know asap, but it is possible that it may not be until Next month.......
