Where the hell is Fredrik Johansson?

here is what mikael told me this july about this topic.. doesn't really answer the question "where is he", still helps figuring out what the situation is:

5. What about Johansson? Ever thought about bringing him back as a special guest for some special song to be published as a bonus track, for example?
The thing is I just met him last week after fucking five years... that is too bad! We don’t really hang out at all anymore. He is a great guy and I know he is busy with other stuff. I know he is still playing and it could be fun but... I don’t know... it wouldn’t really make any sense to us to bring him back and I don’t know if he would want it either. I rather drink beer with him and play with the band.

It's actually eatable past "sell by" date, "use by" date is more dangerous (not for tuna, not any longer).

I wanted to say "expiration date" but it didn't sound right. I broke Fredrik Johansson's knee-cap and decide to go for "sell by". Never trust your captive's knee-caps, that's what I learned today.

haha No serious, No more info darklings?

He is (or has been?) in some rock-band ("Rocketeers" or something like that? Or is my memory failing me once again?), and as you can read from Mikael's "five years" -comment, he doesn't really keep any contact with DT. That's all I know.

Oh, and he is not the same Fredrik Johansson who played on In Flames' "December Flower" or with Dimension Zero - that's a different guy with the same name.

Yep, Rahvin's correct, they might not be the mostcommon names, but they are certainly not rare in any way. There are probably dozens of Fredrik Johanssons in Sweden. The odd coincidence is that two of them are great guitarists.

Wasn't there another Fredrik Johansson who did some graphics for a game or something?

You're absolutely right, ''this'' Fredrik Johansson is some talented musician studying at the music school of Stockholm, Sweden. He was in a band called Chameleon together with Peter Iwers from In Flames.

Too bad he left the band. I can't stand looking at Michael Nicklasson live playing bass. He irritates me with his headbang and movement! :p I'm sure someone else other than me thinks this way haha. Old line-up when Martin H. was on bass was awesome (although he's an amazing guitar player). I like Brandstrom... good thing he joined the band! (Although some people on this forum think he's gay  hmmm) lol Cheers!
