Where to find tour dates?

There's many tours, but I have no idea where to go to find tours. I want a general listing of them. I know myspace often has listings, but the search doesn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

Just look at the schedules on the websites of local venues.

yeah, i get most my dates from the venues. its easier than surfing band sites. blabbermouth has info too, but it updates so fast, i miss alot of things there

Every once in a while I got through the list of band's I like and go to all of their websites to see if they have any new tourdates posted.

Also, a big help is to be friends with bands on myspace. I have been informed of countless tours via myspace bulletins.

Yup, local venues.

With the Myspace thing, you may not be friends with every band you would want to see, but hook up with all the local bands, and they are sure to be opening for the bigger name bands as they come through. Then when the local bands post bullitens you will know when the big bands are playing and where.
