I have a Japanese import version of Power and the Glory, as well as the new one by Axe-Killer. Both have the standard 8 tracks: Power, Redline, Warrior, Nightmare, This Town, Watching, Midas & Eagle.

I have "Power" on vinyl (Carrere), which drops "Midas Touch", but adds a re-make of "Suzi Hold On".

1. Anyone know what happened to this track?
2. Does anyone have it on mp3? (the re-make, not the original version from "Wheels").

epac, As you know, "Suzi Hold On" was originally released on the Wheels Of Steel album and can still be found there. I am not aware of a remake of the song. I had a copy of the Power album on cassette back when it first came out which had "Midas Touch" on it. After a short time, I saw other copies of the same album with "Suzi Hold On" on them in place of "Midas Touch". I don't know for a fact but I wonder if "Midas Touch" was dropped from the U.S. release because the U.S. distributor was afraid of the lyrics to "Midas", fearing they were satanic. This is ridiculous of course but I think the PMRC was just getting started around that time and perhaps the U.S. distributor were afraid of being targeted and/or felt the song was too taboo for the U.S. audience and therefore replacing it would help record sales. Also. it could have been a situation where the record company thought "Suzi" would be a huge radio success here in the states and break the band to a much larger audience as most Saxon fans would have already had "Suzi" on the Wheels album. All of this is purely my speculation however.
