Which album should I get?

I just got into Testament, and I was just wondering which album I should buy first...what do you suggest?

I suggest you to buy "Signs Of Chaos: The Best Of Testament"- which is a very good selection of some of the best songs off the first seven records (showing how many different styles they've tried) and their latest album with new songs "The Gathering" (which is considered one of the best Thrash Metal records ever) first. I'm pretty sure that after hearing these two, you'll check the rest very soon

compilations are alright, but i suggest you pick up first strike still deadly which is re-recorded versions of certain songs from their first 2 records.
also get their latest album, the gathering.
